Proposed Corporate Regulations: A Panel Discussion

David Marquis, Executive Director, NCUA; Jane Melchionda, President/CEO, EasCorp; and Jay Murray, President/CEO, Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU

Please join us on January 11 when Sarah Snell Cook, Credit Union Times Editor-in-Chief, will interview David Marquis, Jay Murray and Jane Melchionda regarding the future role of corporate credit unions.  Now that NCUA’s official proposal is out, many questions come to mind, some of which include:

• What are the key elements to preventing another meltdown?
• Which of NCUA’s proposal points might be better for corporates?
• Which points might be harder to manage?
• Are the proposed investment terms limits too short?
• Are there points on which NCUA will stand firm?
• Are there points on which the agency is less certain?
• If there is corporate consolidation, how should that be handled?

Be sure to bring your questions, as there will be time for audience participation.
